Rabat – The Director of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency (BMAQ), Mohamed Salem Echarkaoui, held a working session on Friday in Rabat with Ambassador Dawas Taysir Dawas, Assistant Secretary-General for Palestine and Al-Quds Affairs at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The meeting focused on ways to support the resilience of the Palestinian people in Jerusalem and Palestine.
The meeting also focused on coordinating efforts to reinforce the Arab and Islamic presence in Jerusalem and Palestine in response to the challenges posed by the unlawful and discriminatory policies and practices of the Israeli occupation.
On this occasion, Mr. Echarkaoui presented an overview of the projects and programs carried out by BMAQ in recent times across the fields of education, health, social welfare, and human development.
He also reiterated the Agency’s commitment to implementing the High Royal Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, ensuring the continued fulfillment of its mission in service of the city, its residents, and its institutions under all circumstances.
