Cairo – The Council of Arab Information Ministers, part of the League of Arab States, on Wednesday recognized the significant contributions of the Al-Quds Committee, chaired by HM King Mohammed VI, in supporting the Palestinian cause.
In a resolution adopted at the conclusion of its 55th regular session, the Council underscored the vital role of initiatives led by the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency(BMAQ), the executive branch of the Al-Quds Committee under His Majesty’s leadership. The Council encouraged Arab media outlets to highlight these initiatives and demonstrate their tangible impact in safeguarding Jerusalem and supporting the Palestinian people.
The Council also called on member states, organizations, and media unions to embrace and implement the programs outlined in the core objectives of the Arab Media Strategy. This includes reaffirming the central role of the Palestinian cause for the Arab nation and strengthening the Arab identity of occupied Jerusalem as the capital of the State of Palestine, in line with the strategy’s supporting goals.
