The 15th Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), which concluded on Sunday in Banjul, Gambia, commended His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, for his steadfast support of the Palestinian cause and efforts to protect Islamic holy sites in Al-Quds Al-Sharif.
The resolution on Palestine and Al-Quds Al-Sharif adopted by the summit lauded the ongoing efforts of King Mohammed VI. The OIC Summit praised His Majesty’s continuous endeavors to safeguard Islamic holy sites in Al-Quds Al-Sharif and oppose the actions of the Israeli occupation authorities aimed at Judaizing the Holy City.
The Islamic Summit Conference recognized the significant contributions of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Al-Sharif Agency, which operates under the Al-Quds Committee. The agency implemented development projects and activities that benefit the residents of the Holy City, thereby supporting their resilience.
