His Excellency Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Hassan Al Thani, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Humanitarian Funds of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), paid a visit to the headquarters of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency in Rabat, at the head of an important delegation from the Humanitarian Funds Department.
During this meeting, Mr. Mohamed Salem Echarkaoui, director of the current affairs management of the Agency, presented an overview of the work of the Institution, under the direct supervision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, in 2023, and the prospects for 2024, according to a realistic methodology that combines ambition and rationalisation.
On this occasion, H E Sheikh Abdulaziz Al Thani commended the role played by His Majesty Mohammed VI, King of Morocco in supporting the Holy City, its people and institutions.
Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Thani expressed his pride in the work carried out by the BMAQ Agency in in Al-Quds and its social and humanitarian role, calling for exploring possibilities of cooperation and coordination between the two parties.
At the conclusion of the visit, His Excellency Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Thani expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the management and staff of the Agency for their warm reception and hospitality, emphasizing the importance of developing relations between the two parties to serve Palestine in general and the people of Al-Quds in particular.
