Jerusalem – The Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency (BMAQ) launched on Monday a package of small support projects in several villages of the Jerusalem Governorate, aimed at providing sustainable sources of income for needy families. The initiative is supported by the Moroccan Association for the Support of Reconstruction in Palestine.
The assistance covered a range of sectors, including livestock and cattle farming, dairy and cheese production, confectionery, tailoring, embroidery, beauty and catering services, as well as fully equipped multipurpose kiosks.
On this occasion, Inaam Zaiter, Director-General of Public Affairs in the Governorate, emphasized that these initiatives are part of a broader policy to support small and micro enterprises as a means of bolstering economic and social resilience.
For his part, Dawoud Al-Jahalin, Director of the Civil Peace Department in the Jerusalem Governorate, expressed deep appreciation for the fruitful partnership between BMAQ and the city’s institutions, both official and civil.
