Gaza – The first phase of a humanitarian relief campaign targeting the most vulnerable families in the Gaza Strip was launched on Monday in the Mawasi area of Khan Younis. The initiative is funded by the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency (BMAQ), in cooperation with the Moroccan Association for the Support of Reconstruction in Palestine.
This stage involves the distribution of essential food items, including flour, cooking oil, legumes, and a variety of fresh vegetables sourced from the local market. It also provides clean drinking water delivered by tanker trucks to affected areas.
Given the difficult security conditions, the campaign will proceed in successive phases. It aims to assist 1,000 displaced Palestinian families living in camps across western Gaza, the central governorate and its surrounding camps, as well as the overcrowded displacement camps in Mawasi Khan Younis.
