{"id":9218,"date":"2024-04-04T23:16:29","date_gmt":"2024-04-04T20:16:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bmaq.org\/?p=9218"},"modified":"2024-05-21T20:17:07","modified_gmt":"2024-05-21T17:17:07","slug":"scientists-review-humanitarian-operation-for-palestinians-ordered-by-his-majesty-king-mohammed-vi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bmaq.org\/en\/2024\/04\/04\/scientists-review-humanitarian-operation-for-palestinians-ordered-by-his-majesty-king-mohammed-vi\/","title":{"rendered":"Scientists Review Humanitarian Operation for Palestinians Ordered by His Majesty King Mohammed VI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Rabat, April 4, 2024<\/p>\n<p>A delegation of scholars attending the Hassaniya Ramadan lessons visited the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Al-Sharif Agency in Rabat on Thursday, where they reviewed the outcomes of the humanitarian operation initiated by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, to benefit Palestinians in Jerusalem and Gaza during Ramadan 1445 AH.<\/p>\n<p>During the visit, the delegation, accompanied by Muhammad Salem Al-Sharqawi, the acting director of the agency, and Jamal Al-Shoubaki, the Ambassador of Palestine to Morocco, received a presentation from Ismail Al-Ramli, the agency\u2019s programs and projects coordinator in Jerusalem. Utilizing remote visual technology, Al-Ramli detailed the operation, which included the delivery of 40 tons of food aid to Gaza by land.<\/p>\n<p>The operation also encompassed the distribution of an additional aid package in Jerusalem, consisting of 2,200 food parcels for 2,200 families, and 1,000 daily food rations provided to residents of care homes, orphanages, Qur\u2019an centers, shelter centers, hospices, and hospital departments. Ramadan Iftar tables were set up in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Silwan, Beit Hanina, Shuafat, and in isolated villages such as Nabi Samuel, Al-Eizariya, and Qalandia.<\/p>\n<p>Further support included equipping the emergency vigilance cell at the Red Crescent Hospital in Jerusalem with communication and information equipment, an emergency kit with 42 types of materials, and a shipment of medicines to the emergency department at Al-Maqasid Charitable Society Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Significant logistical resources were mobilized to ensure the success of the food aid distribution, while providing temporary employment for over 100 young men and women in the city.<\/p>\n<p>The scholars also toured the &#8220;Hymns of Letters from Al-Aqsa to Al-Aqsa&#8221; exhibition at the agency&#8217;s headquarters in Rabat. Organized by the Rabat Forum Association for the Revival of Cultural and Artistic Heritage, the exhibition features Moroccan calligraphy and decoration arts celebrating Jerusalem&#8217;s virtues. The works of 21 artists convey messages of solidarity and love for Palestinians, reflecting Moroccans&#8217; strong connection to Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement to the press, Al-Sharqawi described the visit as an opportunity to showcase the unprecedented and qualitative distribution of humanitarian aid to Palestine, which brought hope to Palestinians.
