\nThe Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and Palestine, the Imam and Preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Muhammed Hussein, praised the continuous work of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency, the executive arm of the Al-Quds Committee, chaired by of His Majesty King Mohammed VI – may God preserve him.
\nHis Eminence Sheikh Hussein met with Mohamed Salem Echarkaoui, the director in charge of managing the current affairs of the Agency, who explained the details of the recent major humanitarian aid campaign directed by His Majesty King Mohammed VI to the Palestinians in Gaza and Jerusalem during the month of Ramadan.
\nDuring this meeting, Echarkaoui reviewed the broad outlines of the Agency’s work program for the year 2024, as well as the Institution\u2019s achievements and the services it provides to the Palestinian people to support their resilience and steadfastness.
\nThe Grand Mufti expressed his gratitude for the efforts deployed by the Kingdom of Morocco, including its King, government, and people, in supporting the Palestinian cause.
\nHe underscored the deep bonds and connections shared between the peoples of Palestine and Morocco, particularly in the city of Jerusalem.
\nHe briefed the director in charge of managing the current affairs of the Agency on the challenging conditions faced by the Palestinian people overall.
