Foreign ministers of the member-states of the Non-Aligned Movement called, during their meeting held in Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan, (July 5-6, 2023), for supporting Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency, the executive arm of Al Quds Committee chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, and praised, in their final statement, the leading part played by HM the King in defending the Palestinian cause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The final statement welcomed the efforts made by His Majesty the King, in his capacity as Chairman of Al Quds Committee, an offshoot of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and hailed the conclusions and the final statement adopted by Al Quds Committee 20th<\/sup> session, held in Marrakesh on January 17-18, 2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Non-Aligned movement foreign ministers also recalled the conclusions of the first ministerial conference of the OIC contact group for the defense of the Palestinian cause and the preservation of the city of Al Quds, held in Rabat on November 12, 2014 under the chairmanship of Morocco and with the participation of Azerbaijan, Egypt, Guinea, Jordan, Malaysia, Palestine, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Turkey, in addition to the OIC Secretary General.<\/p>\n\n\n\n They also expressed readiness to bring support to all the practical measures taken to uphold the State of Palestine and consolidate the resistance of Al Quds population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Baku summit further hailed \u201cAl Quds call\u201d signed in Rabat on March 30, 2019 by His Majesty King Mohammed VI and His Holiness Pope Francis, underscoring that the city of Al Quds stands out as a city of tolerance and mutual respect between the people of the three celestial religions.
