Rabat – The Acting Director of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency (BMAQ), Mohamed Salem Echarkoui, said the Agency\u2019s annual summer camp for Jerusalem children helps translate the Al-Quds Committee\u2019s efforts, chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, into tangible support for the Holy City and its inhabitants.
\nSpeaking to the press following HRH Princess Lalla Meryem\u2019s reception, by order of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, of the Jerusalem children participating in BMAQ\u2019s 17th summer camp at the Guest Palace in Rabat on Sunday, Echarkoui said that \u201cthis renewed royal gesture reflects the care extended to all segments of Jerusalem\u2019s population, particularly younger generations, and seeks to instill in them hope for a better future.\u201d
\nHe added that the initiative also reflects Morocco\u2019s enduring spirit of brotherhood and solidarity with the Palestinian people by investing in younger generations and fostering the values of coexistence, mutual respect, and peace.
\nHe said the Jerusalem children and their accompanying supervisors expressed their sincere gratitude to His Majesty the King for this initiative and for the continued royal support extended to Palestinians, particularly Jerusalemites, through initiatives spanning human development, trade, start-ups, education, healthcare, housing, women\u2019s empowerment, youth and children, culture, and sports..
