Among the participants are six Palestinian students, aged 11 to 16, from schools affiliated with the Directorate of Education in Jerusalem. The event forms part of an educational and humanitarian initiative that will run through May 14.<br \/>\nOrganized at the invitation of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency (BMAQ), an institution affiliated with the Al-Quds Committee chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, and supported by the Ministry of National Education, Preschool, and Sports, this session is held under the theme: \u201cFor Media That Upholds Justice for Palestinian Children.\u201d<br \/>\nThe event coincides with Rabat\u2019s designation as the Arab Media Capital for 2026 and simulates an international summit of Ministers of Information with the participation of children themselves.<br \/>\nThe session offers a rich and varied program, including educational visits to several departments of the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication \u2013 Communication Sector, as well as to the Higher Institute of Information and Communication. Participants will also engage in artistic and educational workshops led by the creative team behind the \u201cHayya\u201d platform for children and youth, which promotes the values and cultural heritage of Jerusalem.<br \/>\nThis platform, launched by the Agency last year as part of its 2024\u20132027 digital strategy, includes animated series, interactive posters using augmented reality technology, an educational magazine, and puppets representing the characters \u201cHabbat Az-Zaytouna\u201d and \u201cAl-Miftah,\u201d symbols of peace and the right of return.<br \/>\nLaunched by the Agency last year as part of its 2024\u20132027 digital strategy, the platform features animated series, augmented reality interactive posters, an educational magazine, and puppet characters such as \u201cHabbat Az-Zaytouna\u201d (The Olive Seed) and \u201cAl-Miftah,\u201d (The Key), symbols of peace and the right of return.<br \/>\nThe current session offers Palestinian children an opportunity to share with their peers their perspectives on how the media portrays them and the extent to which it respects their rights and privacy, in accordance with the principles of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.<br \/>\nThe session will conclude next Thursday with a plenary meeting hosted by the Academy of the Kingdom of Morocco, bringing together ministers, diplomats, and representatives of international organizations accredited in Morocco.
