Casablanca – The Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency (BMAQInnovationHub) concluded its 2026 incubation program for the fifth cohort of innovative Palestinian startups in Casablanca, with financial support from the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform.<\/p>\n
Representatives of the six participating Palestinian companies conducted a series of field visits to several Moroccan innovation and technology ecosystems, following their successful participation in the fourth edition of \u201cGITEX Africa \u2013 Morocco,\u201d held in Marrakech from April 7 to 9, 2026.<\/p>\n
The cohort visited Mohammed VI Polytechnic University in Benguerir, where they explored the \u201c1337\u201d coding school and its integrated model combining research, applied training, and entrepreneurship. They also toured artificial intelligence laboratories, among the leading research and development centers in Africa.<\/p>\n
The program also featured interactive sessions with engineers and technical experts, offering insights into digital product development, startup scaling, and strategies for entering international markets. This phase concluded with a visit to the \u201cStartgate\u201d entrepreneurship hub, which fosters a supportive environment for innovators and emerging ventures.<\/p>\n
The cohort then visited the National School of Business and Management in Casablanca, where they attended an advanced marketing masterclass focused on the latest trends in branding and personal branding, as well as consumer behavior analysis and targeting strategies.<\/p>\n
The visit provided an opportunity to engage with student entrepreneurs through dedicated sessions to present and discuss innovative ideas before an evaluation panel that included Palestinian entrepreneurs, offering practical experience in analyzing business models and assessing startup feasibility.<\/p>\n
These visits form part of BMAQ\u2019s\u00a0 integrated vision of the incubation program (BMAQInnovationHub), which seeks to enable Palestinian startups to benefit from international best practices and engage with successful innovation ecosystems, thereby enhancing their competitiveness and supporting their growth and expansion.<\/p>\n
The fifth cohort\u2019s program concluded with the presentation of participation certificates. Participants expressed strong appreciation for Morocco\u2019s innovation ecosystem, describing the experience as a valuable platform for fostering future partnerships and drawing inspiration from successful models adaptable to the Palestinian context, thereby contributing to the advancement of the entrepreneurship ecosystem and the digital economy.<\/p>\n
Notably, the number of beneficiaries of BMAQ\u2019s incubation program (BMAQInnovationHub), launched three years ago as part of the Agency\u2019s 2024\u20132027 digital strategy, has reached 34 startups operating across diverse fields, including artificial intelligence, science, education, health, agriculture, and financial services.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
