Six Palestinian startups specializing in renewal and innovation will participate in the 4th edition of the \u201cGITEX Africa\u201d exhibition in Marrakech next Tuesday, with support from the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency (BMAQ) under the Al-Quds Committee, chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI.<\/p>\n
The Agency is participating in this event for the third year in a row, with financial backing from the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform of Morocco, through an institutional stand and a space dedicated to the \u201cBMAQ Innovation Hub\u201d incubator.<\/p>\n
The Palestinian companies taking part were chosen based on precise criteria, formulated in collaboration with a specialized team from Al-Quds University.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s participation includes areas such as AI-powered psychological assessments for career guidance via the \u201cBurhan\u201d platform, as well as the digitalization of nursery services and enhanced communication between educators and parents through the \u201cGrowApp\u201d application.<\/p>\n
Also participating are the \u201cHowAISees\u201d platform, which uses AI to improve e-commerce and marketing, and the \u201cLabebo\u201d project, providing innovative remote therapy and rehabilitation for children through interactive 3D technologies.<\/p>\n
The \u201cQREDIT\u201d platform is also participating, providing digital payment services for small and medium-sized enterprises, alongside the \u201cHives 360\u201d system, which leverages the Internet of Things to enhance beekeeping and boost productivity through smart monitoring and data analysis.<\/p>\n
The Agency\u2019s pavilion, open until April 9, 2026, will host professional activities including company presentations and B2B meetings with Moroccan and international stakeholders to explore partnerships and new market opportunities.<\/p>\n
BMAQ emphasized that this participation offers \u201ca unique opportunity to reinforce the role of Palestinian companies in promoting economic and social development, particularly in Jerusalem, in alignment with the objectives of its 2024\u20132027 digital strategy.\u201d<\/p>\n
It added that this step reflects the Agency\u2019s commitment to \u201ceconomically empowering Palestinian youth and creating new opportunities in innovation and entrepreneurship through international platforms that allow them to showcase their projects and build strategic partnerships.\u201d<\/p>\n
Notably, in 2024, the Agency introduced its strategy for digitalization, innovation, and renewal under the motto: \u201cDigital Development in the Service of Economic and Social Growth in Jerusalem.\u201d<\/p>\n
The strategy is built on five key pillars: the \u201cBayt Al-Maghrib in Jerusalem\u201d platform for documenting the city\u2019s human heritage; a startup incubator promoting innovation and renewal; the \u201cDlala\u201d platform for e-commerce and solidarity trade; a comprehensive distance learning system; and the \u201cHayya\u201d apps, which engage children and youth in learning about Jerusalem\u2019s cultural and spiritual values.<\/p>\n
To date, 34 Palestinian startups have participated in the Agency\u2019s innovation and renewal incubator programs, with some progressing to acceleration and partnerships, and others successfully entering the market.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
