BMAQ Launches Its Social Assistance Campaign from the Villages of Nabi Samwil"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jerusalem \u2014 The Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency (BMAQ) launched its annual Ramadan social assistance campaign for 1447 AH from the villages of Nabi Samwil and Al-Judeira, northwest of Jerusalem, under the supervision of its Director, Mohamed Salem Echarkaoui, and in the presence of local community representatives.<br \/>\nThe campaign began with the distribution of food parcels to families in Nabi Samwil and ready-to-eat iftar meals in Al-Judeira, reflecting the spirit of solidarity and mutual support associated with Ramadan.<br \/>\nBeneficiary lists are prepared by social specialists using strict criteria to ensure fairness and transparency, while covering neighborhoods, camps, and villages across Jerusalem to reach the most vulnerable groups.<br \/>\nThis year\u2019s program includes the distribution of 5,000 food baskets containing 22 essential items for needy families, along with food supplies for charitable kitchens and social centers to help prepare about 20,000 iftar meals throughout the month.<br \/>\nAdditional activities include Eid al-Fitr clothing for 500 orphans supported by the Agency, medical outreach campaigns, religious and cultural gatherings, and training programs for Palestinian associations focused on marketing skills and human-development initiatives to strengthen their capacities and sustainability.<br \/>\nIn his remarks, Echarkaoui stressed the symbolic significance of launching the campaign from villages northwest of Jerusalem, highlighting the Agency\u2019s commitment to prioritizing underserved communities facing growing socio-economic challenges.<br \/>\nHe further noted that BMAQ operates under a comprehensive humanitarian and development vision aligned with the directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, aimed at strengthening Jerusalemites\u2019 resilience and supporting their continued presence in the city through sustained social and development programs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jerusalem \u2014 The Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency (BMAQ) launched its annual Ramadan social assistance campaign for 1447 AH from the villages of Nabi Samwil and Al-Judeira, northwest of Jerusalem, under the supervision of its Director, Mohamed Salem Echarkaoui, and in the presence of local community representatives.
