{"id":10911,"date":"2025-05-04T21:49:24","date_gmt":"2025-05-04T18:49:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bmaq.org\/?p=10911"},"modified":"2025-05-04T21:49:24","modified_gmt":"2025-05-04T18:49:24","slug":"the-4th-annual-forum-for-persons-with-disabilities-in-jerusalem-commends-the-efforts-of-hm-king-mohammed-vi-in-supporting-all-segments-of-the-palestinian-people-in-the-holy-city","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bmaq.org\/en\/2025\/05\/04\/the-4th-annual-forum-for-persons-with-disabilities-in-jerusalem-commends-the-efforts-of-hm-king-mohammed-vi-in-supporting-all-segments-of-the-palestinian-people-in-the-holy-city\/","title":{"rendered":"The 4th Annual Forum for Persons with Disabilities in Jerusalem Commends the Efforts of HM King Mohammed VI in Supporting All Segments of the Palestinian People in the Holy City"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Participants in the 4th Annual Forum for Persons with Disabilities, held on Sunday, May 4th, 2025, in Jerusalem by the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency (BMAQ), praised the commendable efforts of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, in supporting all segments of the Palestinian population in Jerusalem.<\/p>\n<p>In this context, Mohamed Sayyad, President of the Nour Al-Ain Association for the Blind, expressed on behalf of the participating associations \u201cdeep gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God protect him, for his supervision and guidance of the Agency&#8217;s work in Jerusalem.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sayyad underscored the Agency\u2019s strong commitment to supporting persons with disabilities, highlighting its consistent allocation of a dedicated portion of the budget to Jerusalem-based institutions serving this vital cause\u2014particularly in light of the city\u2019s ongoing challenging conditions.<\/p>\n<p>The forum, held under the theme \u201cLimitless Potential \u2013 Together We Make a Difference in Jerusalem\u201d, with the participation of 10 specialized associations and a number of project holders, served as an opportunity to reaffirm BMAQ&#8217;s commitment\u2014under the directives of His Majesty\u2014to supporting Jerusalem, its people, and institutions in all circumstances, embodying the institution\u2019s motto: \u201cWith them in Adversity as in Times of Prosperity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For his part, Ismail Al-Ramli, Coordinator of the Agency\u2019s Programs and Projects in Jerusalem, emphasized that this annual event serves as \u201ca tribute to the efforts of people of determination and their meaningful contributions to society.\u201d He noted that \u201cthe outstanding creativity demonstrated by persons with disabilities is clear evidence that, when provided with opportunities, training, and institutional support, they can assume vital and influential roles within their communities \u2014 and that is the essence of true empowerment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The forum featured a guided tour of an exhibition showcasing artistic and handcrafted works created by individuals with disabilities, alongside a display of innovative digital applications designed to support this community.
