{"id":10279,"date":"2024-10-26T22:52:59","date_gmt":"2024-10-26T19:52:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bmaq.org\/?p=10279"},"modified":"2024-10-27T00:54:01","modified_gmt":"2024-10-26T21:54:01","slug":"rabat-holds-grand-solidarity-festival-with-palestinian-people-hosting-high-level-delegation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bmaq.org\/en\/2024\/10\/26\/rabat-holds-grand-solidarity-festival-with-palestinian-people-hosting-high-level-delegation\/","title":{"rendered":"Rabat Holds Grand Solidarity Festival with Palestinian People, Hosting High-Level Delegation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Rabat \u2013 October 26, 2024<br \/>\nThe Moroccan Association for Supporting Reconstruction in Palestine organized the Rabat Solidarity Festival with the Palestinian people under the theme &#8220;With Them in Adversity , as well as in Prosperity.&#8221;<br \/>\nThis event coincided with the visit of the National Popular Conference for Jerusalem (NPCJ) and the Islamic-Christian Commission to Support Jerusalem and Holy Sites delegation to Morocco, at the invitation of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency (BMAQ).<br \/>\nThe festival, attended by Moroccan and international figures, featured photo exhibitions, art displays, traditional handmade crafts, a Palestinian salon and culinary pavillion, as well as 3D-screened representations of the Dome of the Rock and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.<br \/>\nIn his address, Bilal Al-Natsheh , the NPCJ Secretary-General , commended &#8220;Morocco&#8217;s ongoing solidarity initiatives, led by its king and people, in support of the Palestinian cause, particularly in preserving the identity of Al-Quds Al-Sharif &#8220;.<br \/>\nAl-Natsheh praised &#8220;the efforts of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, in international and regional forums to support Jerusalem, preserve its Arab identity, historical character, and its Islamic and Christian sanctities, as its faithful guardian.&#8221; He also cautioned about the repercussions of the current situation in the Holy City.<br \/>\nFor his part, Mohammed Salem Echarkaoui, the Director in charge of running BMAQ , affirmed that &#8220;Moroccans, under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, are united in their unwavering commitment to the Palestinian cause, just as they are to their foremost national cause, and they remain steadfast in this pledge, without compromise or concession&#8221;.<br \/>\nOn this occasion, Echarkaoui highlighted that the difficult conditions in the Holy City &#8220;require support to bolster the resilience of its people and institutions as they confront daily challenges that disrupt their lives, jeopardize their survival and stability, and limit their civil and religious freedoms.&#8221;<br \/>\nThe festival concluded with a ceremony attended by the Palestinian Ambassador to Morocco, Jamal Al-Shobaki, President of the Moroccan Association for Supporting Reconstruction in Palestine, Mohamed Jamal Bouzidi, and Deputy of the Moroccan Association for Supporting the Palestinian Struggle, Abdelhafid Walaalu.<br \/>\nThe event included the presentation of 5 million Moroccan dirhams in support from the Association for projects run by the BMAQ Agency.<\/p>\n<p>\/\/<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rabat \u2013 October 26, 2024 The Moroccan Association for Supporting Reconstruction in Palestine organized the Rabat Solidarity Festival with the Palestinian people under the theme &#8220;With Them in Adversity , as well as in Prosperity.&#8221;
