Tetouan – By order of HM King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan eelcomed today, Monday, at the Royal Palace in Tetouan, the Jerusalemite children participating in the 16th edition of the summer camp organized by the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency (BMAQ).
This initiative, held under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, and overseen by BMAQ, reflects the constant care that His Majesty, may God preserve him, devotes to the Holy City and its inhabitants.
It further strengthens the Agency’s efforts to support the Holy City of Jerusalem and its residents through a variety of impactful projects, especially those benefiting women, children, and other vulnerable populations.

As in previous editions, the current camp—titled “Harat Al-Maghariba” and running from August 10 to 26—hosts 50 Jerusalemite children between the ages of 11 and 14, accompanied by five supervisors from the Holy City. This year’s program features educational excursions, cultural and sporting competitions, as well as joint cultural activities with Moroccan children..
On this occasion, Mr. Mohamed Salem Echarkaoui, Director in charge of managing BMAQ, along with the supervisors and Jerusalemite children, had the honor of greeting HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan
Afterwards, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan posed for a commemorative photo with the children and their supervisors, before presiding over a reception held by HM King Mohammed VI in honor of the children..
On this occasion, the Jerusalemite children presented HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan with a commemorative gift. For his part, Mr. Echarkaoui offered HRH a photo album prepared by BMAQ documenting the highlights of this camp edition.
Since its inception in 2008, the BMAQ summer camp program has benefited some 800 children from various neighborhoods of the Holy City, accompanied by 80 supervisors. Participants have traveled across the Kingdom, experiencing firsthand the strong solidarity of the Moroccan people with the Palestinians.
