Rabat – The Jerusalem children participating in the 16th edition of the summer camp, held under the theme “Harat Al-Maghariba,” arrived today in Rabat to begin the second phase of the program. The camp is organized by the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency (BMAQ), under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee.
During their visit to the BMAQ headquarters, the Palestinian children were introduced to the Agency’s programs and initiatives, implemented under the High Guidance of HM King Mohammed VI to support Jerusalemites of all walks of life. Particular emphasis was placed on projects specifically designed for children and youth.
On this occasion, the children and their supervisors voiced heartfelt gratitude for this noble royal gesture, renewed annually, which offers them the opportunity to discover the Kingdom of Morocco and experience the warmth and generosity of its people.
This second phase of the camp program features extensive activities, including beach and seaside games, as well as educational visits to several official national institutions in the Moroccan capital.
The Palestinian children will also visit the Mohammed VI Football Academy and the National Zoo, and on Sunday they will join Moroccan children in the grand celebration marking the Throne Day festivities, held at the Stade Al-Manzar Al-Jamil in Rabat.
The summer camp program was inaugurated with the “Summer School,” organized by the Agency for the benefit of both Moroccan and Palestinian children, under the theme: “Let’s Make Electronic Games a Tool for Education, Learning, and Entertainment.” The workshop was led by specialized experts in fields such as child protection, artificial intelligence, and responsible digital entertainment through interactive workshops and practical applications.
