Jerusalem – During the first two days of Eid al-Adha, the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency (BMAQ) launched its “Joy of Eid” campaign, providing aid to 350 vulnerable Palestinian families in Jerusalem.
This initiative reflects the enduring spirit of solidarity shown by the Moroccan people—under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee—toward their Palestinian brothers and sisters.
On the morning of Eid al-Adha, BMAQ teams distributed sweets in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque and personally delivered food baskets to the homes of beneficiary families. These baskets included a variety of items such as meat, vegetables, fruits, and frozen goods like peas, molokhia, okra, and chicken schnitzel, along with essential staples including rice, oil, sugar, salt, lentils, pasta, halva, and dates.
Funded by the Moroccan Association for the Support of Reconstruction in Palestine, the initiative also featured a special event for children, complete with entertainment, costume performances, and gift distributions—bringing joy to their hearts and hope for a brighter future.
