Jeddah – The OIC Assistant Secretary-General for Palestine and Al-Quds Affairs, Samir Bakr Diyab, praised on Thursday in Jeddah the valuable roles played by the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency (BMAQ) , as the executive arm of the Al-Quds Committee, in supporting the Palestinian people, especially in the Holy City.
Mr. Diyab, during his meeting with the Agency’s director, Mr. Mohamed Salem Echarkaoui, highlighted “the grave situation in the occupied Palestinian territory.”
For his part, Mr. Echarkaoui reaffirmed the Agency’s dedication to fulfilling its mandates and responsibilities, emphasizing its resolve—within the means available—to continue supporting the social and economic sectors of the Holy City and safeguarding its religious and cultural identity, in line with the High Royal Directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee.
